We save our money to buy a house. We work hard to pay for it. During this time, the house seems to "get old". It needs paint, siding, new roof, carpet, landscaping, etc. It seems like things don't last as long as they used to. Repairs always need to be done, regardless how old the house is.
The same seems to be true of our faith. It is something we constantly need to work on. It does not renew itself. I finally get this radical idea. Groundbreaking, especially since i'm now an old man. I guess it proves that if you stumble thru life always looking for your purpose, that eventually you will find it.
On the other hand, working on the house, we never seem to find a time where it is where its meant to be.
No more time to chat, I need to work on the new porch swing
